Under the plan of heaven, the husband and the wife walk side by side as companions, neither one ahead of the other, but a daughter of God and a son of God walking side by side.

Handsome Little Boy Emerson

Emerson is a hoot! He says the funniest things. He plays well with Capri and has figured out that he can take a toy away from Capri if he bribes her with a doll. He is such a sweet little thing. Every morning he come into my bed and snuggles for a max. of 5 minutes, then he uncovers me, gives me my glasses, gives me a hug and a kiss and then tells me to go use the bathroom. It's so cute and he does it every morning! He had quite the imagination and has a hard time with monsters, still. We have to sleep with the light on in the living room and he reminds us every night to keep it on. He loves to play outside and is such a mama's boy. He is always thinking, which sometimes gets him in trouble. He loves to tease, which gets him in trouble a lot as well. But then we he come up to me and says "Mommy I love you and like you", my heart melts. He's still really into cars and movies. (Yes, he caries his cars around in a basket ball carrier. I can't call it a purse, I used to, but now it's just his carrier.) He also loves to ride his scooter. Why can't they stay little forever??

Sweet Baby Capri Lin

I wanted to do a post about each of the kids. (For family who doesn't get to see them much . . .) Capri is such a little princess. She has every man in her life wrapped around her finger. She went to nursery for the first time this week. I can't believe how big she is getting. She is so pretty, with her beautiful smile and curly hair. She has a very strong personality and defiantly speaks her mind. She has a hard time sleeping and still takes a bottle and a pacifier. (Which is my fault because to me she is still a baby and NEEDS them!) She plays well with her brother, but will tell on him the minute he does something that bugs her. She loves dolls and stuffed animals. Her favorite thing to do is push them around in the stroller Lindsey gave her for Christmas. She loves to feed them, change their diapers, and then pat them on the back. It is so cute! She is such a sweet spirit and we are so lucky to have her.

Summer Dress from Lindsey

I don't know if any of you noticed the cute dress Capri had on, but Lindsey made it for Capri. It is so cute on her! I absolutely love it. She is so talented. (Or is learning to be so, she is taking sewing classes from a friend.) I can't wait to see what else she makes.

Happy Easter!!

Easter was a blast this year. The kids really got excited about hunting for eggs and their Easter baskets. We all kinds of felt bad for Emerson, though, because he was feeling a bit lonely being all by himself hunting for eggs. It's a good thing that Kendra's working of getting him a cousin. He needs one bad. He did get to have all 44 eggs, though. It took him quite some time to hunt for them all, though. The kids looked way cute in their outfits from my mom. She has the best taste in clothes! I also let Emerson make a "Bunny Hutch." He had the best time with thatLindsey even managed to get a REALLY good family picture of us!

Happy Birthday Isaac!

Isaac's birthday was March 22. (I know, I'm a little behind of the posts!) On Saturday (his actual birthday) we all went out to eat at Red Lobster. The kids had a great time. On Sunday we went to my mom's house and had a combined Easter/birthday party. I can't believe Isaac is 27! Time flies. I am so lucky to have him as my husband. I not much for sappy, but I sure do love him. I'm so proud of him. He really is a hard worker and loves me and the kids. AND man is he patient with me! I know I can be a pain sometimes, but he is great and just lets it roll off his shoulders. I think this past month has been one of the best in our entire marriage. Isn't it amazing how it just gets better and better!??! I love you boo-boo.

Hogle Zoo

So, our zoo membership expires at the end of the month, so we have been going to the zoo a lot lately. Here are some cute pictures that I took. My friend Madison went with us and we had a blast. The kids even got to pet a possum.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We had a St. Patrick's Day party today, and it was so much fun. Lindsey, Mom, Dad, Madison (my friend), Ben (my friend's son), and Micah (my friend's nephew) all came over to participate in the festivities. We played a game and ate all green food. It was a lot of fun. Since my kids loves vegetables, they thought it was great. Oh, and the cupcakes with green frosting and sprinkles were a BIG hit as well. I should have taken more pictures, but I was having to much fun talking with everyone. Here are a few of the ones that I did get. I don't know why some of them are blurry. Sorry.

McDonald's with Lindsey

Emerson in the play plane, having the time of his life!

Emerson smiling for the camera. (He actually thanked me for taking his picture after this one!)
I went down the slide once with the kids. It was so much fun. (It smelled like stinky feet, though.)
Capri enjoying her ice cream.

Emerson and his ice cream.

Sweet, beautiful Capri.
I couldn't get once without the pacifier!

Capri waiting for Emerson to slide down the slide.

Today Lindsey set up a "play date" with the kids and we all went to McDonald's for ice cream and fun. We had a great time. Emerson made a little friend name Eli, that he played with the whole time. Capri was her sweet little self and just played quietly, watching all the action, but staying far enough away not to get hurt. (Boys can be so wild!) Lindsey said that she is going to try to get together with us once a week. I am really excited about this because I am going to miss her so much. I can't imagine life with her so far away. It's hurts me to think of her being away. I can't even talk about it without tearing up. I love you Lindsey!!!!!
