Under the plan of heaven, the husband and the wife walk side by side as companions, neither one ahead of the other, but a daughter of God and a son of God walking side by side.

I forgot to put on the pictures of our 4th of July BBQ. So, here they are.

Getting so big

Emerson and Capri are getting so big. Today I wanted to shave my legs, so I put Capri in her playpen and asked Emerson to entertain her. (The bathroom was right across the hall so I could hear them. Emerson was so sweet and had a great time reading her books and getting her toys. They were great. Capri also said the funniest thing the other day. I told her that I loved her and she looked at me and said "I love you too, honey." It made me laugh.

Emerson colored this picture at church and was sooo proud. I was very impressed. If you look close, he drew heads, eyes, mouths, arms and legs. I can't believe how big he's getting. I was impressed! He was so excited to get home and put the picture on the fridge.

It seems that the only thing we can do in the hot weather is go swimming, so that's what we do almost every day. The kids look forward to it. We have lots of different, fun, water toys for the back yard.

Cute kids!!!

This was the best part of the Wild West town. We got this picture taken of the kids, and it turned out soooo cute!

Happy Late 4th of July!

We had a wonderful 4th of July and actually celebrated all weekend. On the actual 4th we went to an old western town called Rawhide. It was lots of fun. There was an old fashioned celebration with face painting, balloon animals, train rides, petting zoo, etc. The kids had a great time. Emerson was really into the gun shows. He thought that was the neatest thing EVER. The day after we had a little barbecue. It was really fun. We were all by ourselves and cooked enough food for an army. Emerson really wanted to help Isaac with the grill. He's turning into such a little helper.
