Playing outside in Utah

One of the kids favorite parts about Utah is my parents back yard. It is PARADISE! The kids jumped on the trampoline, the played on the swing set, (that my Dad fixed up just for them -than you!!) and just ran around on the soft grass. It was the first thing they wanted to do in the morning and (if we were home) they played out there until it was dark. Isaac even laid out there one night on a blanket with the older 2 kids and pointed out all the stars. This is why I love Utah!

Cade playing with my mom's cat. (She's not as tolerant as our kitty.)

Cade LOVES slides.

Funny story - one morning, the kids couldn't WAIT to play outside - so they ran out with their jammies still on. While they were playing the sprinklers came on! They were having so much fun, that I just let them play, in their jammies, in the sprinklers. It was a blast!

The kids, all wet, playing "bumper swings" in their jammies.

Just a cute pic of me and Eleri. She's not that into "outside" yet.

Sweet little boy LOVING being outside!

Birthday Buddies

My cousin Amy and I were both due with our babies around the same time. (Actually a couple weeks apart.) Since Eleri came early, they were actually born on the SAME DAY!!! How fun is that? So, we call them birthday buddies. What's even funnier is that they were about the exact same size when they were born. (Not now - boy has her little boy grown!) It was so much fun to go visit Amy and Dago. The kids had a blast playing at the playground while Amy and I loved on each other's babies. I'm glad we got to see them.
Just a cute pic of Cade sliding on the playground by their apartment.

Me, holding Joseph, and Amy holding Eleri.

Seriously, the HAPPIEST baby alive. All you had to do was look at him and he would burst into this adorable smile. What a cuttie!

Utah Part 1

We really enjoyed our trip to Utah. We spent most of our time outside and really enjoyed seeing friends and family. It will take me a few posts to get all the pictures on here about our trip, so be expecting a little each day. We have been quite sick (our souvenir from Utah), but are slowly getting better.

We were able to visit my aunt Natasha and Uncle Dean in Bountiful. the kids LOVED playing in their back yard and playing with all the snails they found.
Capri and her snail.

Emerson and his snail.

Looking at snails.

Emerson even climbed his first tree in their back yard!!!

We were able to go to Gardner Village for some "home decor" shopping. It was a beautiful day for taking pictures. My best friend, Paige, and her kids were able to join us and we had a wonderful time catching up and letting the kids play.

All the kids (Emerson, Capri, Erin, Anya and David), minus the babies.

Emerson and Capri. (Boy I LOVE these 2 nutcases!)
While in Utah, we were in Pleasent Grove and decided to go take a picture of the first place Isaac lived in when he first moved to Utah. It was the SMALLEST house and luckily it was empty and for rent, so we were able to show the kids this itty bitty space where daddy used to live. It was actually smaller than I remember!!

Cousins

It's great that Cade and Eleri have cousins so close to their ages. (Sorry Emerson and Capri!) We went to Isaac's parent's house and got to play with cousins. I'm glad that Isaac has family in Arizona so that the kids have cousins near. It's going to be Kyson's 2nd birthday while we were in Utah, so we gave him his present early. He loved it! I also threw in some random photos from the past week. Enjoy!!

Peek - a - boo!!
Kenley and Eleri - already best buddies.

Love the look on Eleri's face. She was not happy!!!
